To fill their pockets? They too nurses have a right to live and not going to be killed, they do NOT have to take being at risk like they are in that hospital. I never said they weren’t, it’s a tough situation for sure. The sick deserve to be cared for by people who are able to properly care for them and are not being worked to the bone without help. My comment was directed at someone who seems to think that these nurses are supposed to work themselves to death while we all sit safely at home judging them for making tough decisions for their own well being, and consequently the well being of patients in their care. The hardest part of being the manager of an ICU is the 24/7 staffing. You never stop worrying.
