You forgot the kids came home from somebody not to mention extra transportation like buses. The way school works is not as easy as you think it is to deal with this. This isnt a practice drill.. hell even practice drills arent as much help not reality wise predictable. Most teachers are in the high risk age group. It gets passed around to them and then kids take it home to their older relatives. Ever try getting a kindergartner to sit still? Let alone properly wear a mask. Kelly Adams Kindergarten kids shouldn’t be wearing masks anyway. Damn right i’m a chiefs fan now and forever. No kid should be….bad idea. So…have the teachers wear a mask and stand behind a clear plastic wall. I thought people said masks protect you and others around you. Hmmm? Masks and social distancing DO protect people. But you’re asking teachers to be in close proximity with little to no social distancing teaching kids for 8 hours per day. And young kids won’t abide by that. Stand behind a clear plastic wall? I love those that have never taught a day in their life give advice to teachers. I’m using the media and mask enforcers logic here. But kids are highly unlikely to infect others….proven in many countries already.
