While shopping at non peak hours you will run into a issue. No cashiers especially at Walmart trying to force you to self check out. That’s fine if you have a few items but not when you have 2 carts full of groceries. I have tried going on a Monday. If everyone goes at non peak hours all time will be peak . As a retail worker most people are smart enough to just do this. Thanks is what I can say. Thanks for making our job easier. I wear two mask and disposal gloves well grocery shopping, I wipe everything I purchased down with lysol wipes before bringing it into my home I even wash all my veggies and fruits, I do it all in my garage and let what doesn’t need to be refrigerated. I had to sneeze so without thinking I pulled my masked down to sneeze. People freaked out, but it cleared the isle on a busy Friday. In my dream world books are free and reading makes you thin mug

Dear CDC, the words Wash your hands often is subjective. I see mask wearing people leaving the restroom without washing their hands that habit has not changed for humanity, just nasty! You need to say, Wash your hands after elevator buttons, door. Can’t go at non-peak hours because now 24 hours stores are closed at night, so the same amount of people still need food from that store so they all jam in there during the shorter hours of operation. Hmmm I work in grocery. Most people are considerate. But still have to remind some to properly wear their mask. If we ask you to step back from us or others please don’t give us attitude. I guarantee you every store that you walk into his had at. Or pick up curbside! It is what I have done for 9 months. Not all grocery stores everywhere may do that but even in small towns in Kansas they do. In my dream world books are free and reading makes you thin mug

Wait so if everyone should wait to shop till non peak hours won’t they become peak hours ? Come on CDC you’re better than this. I fixed it. Well now that everyone that is terrified will be shopping during non peak hours. Good job. you just transferred one large crowd for the other. The CDC is trying to force everyone to go at non-peak hours, which will make it more crowded! The people who actually work at the grocery stores need to be reminded that the mask should cover their noses too! Visited a Dollar General yesterday and the cashier was not wearing a mask over her nose and mouth. It was under her chin. Not going back. On the news today: try to make sure your kids have separate rooms to sleep in, play in etc. we know it’s not possible for everyone but please try. I haven’t been in a grocery store since mid March. I do on line ordering and curb side pickup.
