I fail to find the part where the freedom of speech comes with caveat of having to be factual. LGBT I am brave I am bruised poster. Damien Villaiobos The courts of course!
LGBT I am brave I am bruised poster
The courts have always held that the “freedom of speech” is constrained by common decency and “natural law”, defamation is not protected neither is lying as in falsely crying “fire” in a theatre. Fact check may become a good direction , now twitter should apply it to all politician tweet and any future president too. But if the system mainly aim for 1 person. That mean twitter have political bias and aim to enforce special rule only to control 1 group of people but let other lie roam free. when a person is president of the USA it should be factual. I’ve also seen some media sites fact checking and pulling some posts from regular people. Soooo fair is fair. LGBT I am brave I am bruised poster. Plus, if your a responsible company, regardless of what you sell or deal in, its always good to be honest, especially if you want people to trust you. This is a moot conversation. As freedom of speech only pertains to government. I find it amazing the people who quote the constitution are the very same ones who don’t seem to understand it. reading comprehension is obviously not your forte…

This guy is talking about freedom of speech not speech within the confines of a private organization..two entirely different beasts. LGBT I am brave I am bruised poster. Damien Villaiobos But Twitter, Facebook and other social media are, to use your words, “within the confines of a private organization” .
