We didn’t have testing for COVID 19 until relatively recently so it would make sense that there are many deaths that had to be attributed to something else. Skull not everyone’s cup of tea. What is the situation with accurate testing?
Skull not everyone’s cup of tea shirt
I know several people who have been sick with what their doctors perceived to be Covid yet they tested negative 3 or 4 times. One person had fever for one month and another was hospitalized yet repeated tests were negative. They were told they were false negatives. What is the point of taking a test if they are inaccurate? What I want to know is why would we go to a rally when it’s too dangerous to go to the store or even back to work safely? Skull not everyone’s cup of tea. A lot of people may refuse to take the diagnostic test because they think, it’s entirely useless. There is still a poor understanding out there, what does the “the test” answer and how to use the information. There are questions about the reliability of the RT-PCR tests’ of various manufacturers. Lot’s of people finds unclear the the meaning of specificity and sensitivity. The incoherency of explanation undermined the readiness to take the tests in many places. More information is needed as to why and how to interpret the test results, including the influence of the potential occurrence and prevalence of false positives and the false negatives. It is still necessary to put emphasis on why do we still find the large number of testing useful. My husband and I are in the high risk category and realize we will have to practice social distancing and wear masks till a vaccine is available in maybe a year.
